My story isn’t pretty, but it’s real.

I'm not one of those people who had a brief stint with acne after coming off the birth control pill and now claims to be an "expert”, or someone who struggled for a few months and then magically found the perfect routine.

I've been in the trenches with stubborn, relentless acne for 20 years.

My skin is thin, incredibly acne-prone, and seemingly reacts to everything. I can't tolerate most ingredients that experts swear are "good for skin." Finding products that are actually effective while keeping my skin acne-free has been like searching for a needle in a haystack.

If you've ever felt like your skin is impossible to figure out, like you're the exception to every rule, like nothing works for you - I get it. I've been there.

I’ve literally tried everything

But I never gave up (and neither should you)!

While I'm not a dermatologist or esthetician, I've spent the last two decades becoming something else: an obsessive researcher and real-world tester.

  • Years working at L'Oréal USA corporate in NYC, gaining insider knowledge about the beauty industry

Most importantly: I'm not singularly focused. I don't believe there's only one "right" way to clear skin. I'm willing to try and test a wide range of approaches - medical, natural, nutritional, topical, internal - to find what actually works.
